‘Dunk the police’ fundraiser Saturday

The public will have a chance to dunk a Morgan City police officer Saturday as part of a fundraiser for the multiple sclerosis research.
Morgan City police officers will be in the dunking booth from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at East Gate BBQ in Morgan City. The event is also a celebration of East Gate BBQ’s fifth anniversary and will last until 9 p.m. with live music and water games for kids.
All money raised from the dunking booth will go to the Louisiana Chapter for Multiple Sclerosis, East Gate BBQ owner Harlan Kappel said.
