One person dead in pipeline blast

One person was killed today when a pipeline exploded at the Williams Field Services natural gas plant in Gibson, the Houma Courier website is reporting.
The newspaper quotes unnamed Gibson fire officials.
Residents living on the 4700 block of Bayou Black Drive are being advised to leave their homes or stay inside them, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
