U.S. 90, La. 182 bridge cleanings scheduled

The U.S. 90 bridge over Berwick Bay will have will have alternating inside and outside lane closures, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, a state Department of Transportation and Development news release said.
Lane closures are necessary for crews to clean debris from the bridge. This is a movable operation so crews will be constantly moving. There are no restrictions to oversized loads, the release said.
The La. 182 bridge over Berwick Bay will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 31 for crews to clean debris and vegetation from the bridge, a news release said.
Work will take place if the weather permits. The detour route will be the U.S. 90 bridge.
