Holiday closings

Local and parish municipal offices will have abbreviated schedules for the New Year’s holiday.
Town of Berwick, City of Patterson and parish offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Morgan City municipal offices will close at noon Tuesday and will be closed New Year’s Day.
The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon Tuesday and will be closed New Year’s Day.
The City of Morgan City will begin its trash collection routes earlier Tuesday in order to finish before the landfill closure at noon. Otherwise, Morgan City trash collection will not be affected by the holiday. Progressive Waste will not collect routes on New Year’s Day. However, the Wednesday route will be collected early Thursday before beginning the usual Thursday routes.
The Daily Review and St. Mary Journal will also have holiday hours. The office at 1014 Front St. in Morgan City will close early Tuesday and all day Wednesday. There will be no Daily Review printed on New Year’s Day. The abbreviated hours will result in earlier deadlines for news and advertising.
