WILLIAM TURNER JR.

William Turner Jr., 63, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 3:50 a.m., at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston.
William was a veteran of The United States Army.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m.
William leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Carrie Mae Gash of Morgan City; two sons, William Turner of Baton Rouge and Jerome Turner of Morgan City; two daughters, April Ayers of Morgan City and Brenda Turner of Houston; two brothers, Ronald Turner and Rodney Gash, both of Morgan City; three sisters, Lyndora Gash of Morgan City, Chunda Sistrunk and Valerie Francois of Houston; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his father, paternal and maternal grandparents.
