Chamber names marketing director

The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce announced Lisa Nezat Patterson has been named marketing director, Donna Meyer, chamber president, said in a news release.
Patterson was born in Opelousas and raised in Morgan City. She is the daughter of Gene and Edie Nezat of Morgan City.
Patterson is married to Terry Patterson from Newport, Maine. They have been married for 27 years and have two children, Aaron and Amanda Patterson.
Patterson is a graduate of the Morgan City High School Class of 1983. She is a graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio, in Lima, Ohio.
She and her family have lived the past 23 years in Ohio where she was marketing manager for Primrose Retirement Communities. Patterson and her family have recently moved back to her hometown of Morgan City where for the last two years she worked marketing manager at Maison Jardin. During that time she also served as Ambassador for the Chamber.
Patterson joined the chamber staff in January as marketing director as well as business office manager.
Patterson strongly believes that “All things are possible with God” and her positive spirit and love for God and people shine through her spirit daily, Meyer stated.
