FSHS beats Donaldsonville

The Franklin Hornets earned a win over the Donaldsonville Tigers in the second game of a double-header in District 9-3A action Wednesday at the FSHS Baseball Field.
Franklin dropped a 6-5 loss in the opener. Freshman Brent Ina threw a great game though it was a losing effort. The Hornets bounced back in the second game and won by a score of 7-2 with Allen Randle earning the mound victory. Randle struck out 10 and walked none to earn the win..
Leading hitters for both games for the Hornets were Mark Davis, Allen Randle, Bernard Mitchell, and Austin Hale, Trelon Turner, Taylor Peters, LaDarious Davis, and Gailyn Mitchell.
The Hornets will play again at home at 11 o’clock on Saturday morning.
