MORGAN CITY — Ty’Jae Vaughn homered and collected four RBIs and Morgan City Rentals defeated Gator Riggings 11-4 in youth baseball action Thursday.
Vaughn finished the game 2-for-3 and also scored two runs.
Other contributors for Morgan City Rentals were Ty Eschette, 2-for-3, a double and two RBIs; Dakota Gibson, 1-for-2, two RBIs and three runs; Jacob Blum, 1-for-3, two RBIs and two runs; Robbie Boudreaux, 1-for-2, a run; Yahir Zermano, 1-for-3, a run; and Bryson Dupuy and J.R. Hymel, each a run.
Caleb Menina led Gator Riggings with a 1-for-2 performance with a home run, an RBI and two runs, while Carson Meador was 1-for-2 with a triple and a run. Other contributors included Karson Nelson and Elijah Brown, each an RBI; and Blake Peterson, a run.

Luke Barbier had a triple and pitched five innings, recording eight strikeouts as KFC/Taco Bell defeated Dragna Brothers 11-6 in Morgan City Dixie League baseball action Tuesday.
Barbier finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs at the plate, while on the mound, he pitched five innings and surrendered five hits, one walk and one run.

Hebert finished 1-for-3 in the contest while Grant Stansbury and Philip Guarisco each finished 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run.
