MC 10s go 2-0 this weekend

The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars are in the driver’s seat of the District 3 Dixie Youth 10-year-old tournament after two days of play.
Morgan City run-ruled Thibodaux 12-0 in four innings in its opening round contest Saturday, while on Sunday, Morgan City rallied to defeat St. Mary Central 9-8 in its final at bat.
Patterson fell to St. Mary Central 3-2 in other first-round action Saturday and run-ruled Thibodaux 10-0 in four innings.
Patterson will face St. Mary Central today at 6 p.m. for the right to advance to face Morgan City.
Morgan City is off tonight and will face the winner of St. Mary Central/Patterson at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Morgan City has to win just once Tuesday to advance to regional play.
