Cage fighting in the area Saturday

Caged fighting will return to the area Saturday when Battlezone Promotions holds Caged Warrior Championship V at the Patterson Area Civic Center.
Steve Miller, owner of the Louisiana Black Belt Academy in Morgan City, which is promoting the event, said Saturday’s action will be a “UFC-style event.”
“This will be our 14th event in St. Mary Parish since 2004,” Miller said.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Saturday, while bell time is 7:30 p.m.
