Mid-Semester Bash and Cookout at park Friday

South Central Louisiana Technical College, Young Memorial Campus, is sponsoring its 10th annual Mid-Semester Bash and Cookout at Lake End Park Friday.
Students, faculty and staff will be admitted for free to the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. event sponsored by the SGA of the Young-Memorial campus.
Guest tickets are available at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children. Food and drinks are included with admission cost.
Events include a costume contest, bingo, tug of war, photo booth, limbo, pumpkin roll, face painting and a chili cook-off.
Teams wishing to enter the chili cook off will be charged a $25 entry fee and may begin set up at 7:30 a.m.
All chili must be cooked on site at Lake End Park, and a minimum of five gallons must be cooked with no seafood involved. All cooking is to be completed by 11 a.m., with judging beginning 11:30 a.m.
