HMS celebrates Homecoming; FHS, WSM eye league games
Week 7 of the prep grid season finds the Hanson Memorial Tigers celebrating homecoming while the Franklin Hornets and the West St. Mary Wolfpack playing in their second league contests.
The Hanson Memorial Tigers (4-2, 1-2) will play host to the Gueydan Bears (0-6, 0-3) Friday for Homecoming at McCloskey Field.
Franklin (0-6, 0-1) will travel to Thibodaux to take on the E. D. White Cardinals (4-2, 2-0) Friday in District 9-3A action.
West St. Mary (0-6, 0-1) will play host to the Kaplan Pirates (4-2, 1-0) in District 6-3A action at Wolfpack Stadium.
GHS AT HMS
Hanson plays host to Gueydan for Homecoming in District 7-1A action on Friday at 7 p.m. at McCloskey Field.
Hanson is looking to even its conference record at 2-2 after dropping a decision to Central Catholic of Morgan City last Thursday.
The Hanson Tigers celebrates Homecoming Friday with the Gueydan Bears coming to McCloskey Field at 7 p.m.
FHS AT EDW
The Franklin Hornets go on the road to face the district 9-3A leading E. D. White Cardinals on Friday in league play.
Franklin looks to rebound from last week’s loss to the Berwick Panthers while E. D. White hopes to continue its winning ways after nipping the Donaldsonville Wildcats 25-24 last week in Friday’s action.
Franklin travels to face E. D. White Friday in District 9-3A action at 7 p.m.
KHS AT WSM
In only its second home game of the season, the West St. Mary Wolfpack will host the Kaplan Pirates in District 6-3A play on Friday.
West St. Mary will enter Friday’s league contest looking to bounce back from a a 58-0 setback at the hands of the highly-regarded Notre Dame Pioneers of Crowley. The Kaplan Pirates opened conference play by posting a 41-14 victory over District 6-3A opponent the North Vermilion Pirates..
West St. Mary plays host to Kaplan in District 6-3A action Friday at 7 p.m. at Wolfpack Stadium.
