Farm meeting to be rescheduled

The St. Mary Parish Farm Bill Educational meeting scheduled fon Nov. 3 at the Bayou Vista Community Center will be rescheduled, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture Louisiana Farm Service Agency State Executive Director Craig A. McCain.
The decision to reschedule this meeting was based on the ongoing harvest and related field work in the sugar cane growing area.
The training will be rescheduled later in the year or in early 2015, McCain said.
An announcement will be made once the meeting has been rescheduled.
