Selma Clara Guillot Schaub

Selma Clara Guillot Schaub, a long-time resident of Morgan City, passed away in Thibodaux Friday, Nov.14, 2014, at the age of 86.
Selma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved keeping up with her children and her many grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by all.
Selma is survived by her children, Barbara Adams and husband, Berney, of Stephensville, Sylvia Williams and husband, Skipper, of Morgan City, Elroy Schaub and wife, Kathy, of Lafayette, Pam Mahaffey and husband, Michael, of Bayou Vista, and Bonnie S. Mayon of Morgan City; grandchildren, Brett Adams, Brady Adams, Becky Dupre, Cory Williams, Jenny Williams, Lauren Rentrop, Nikole Babineaux, Mandy Dore, Jonathan Schaub, Ashley Chesteen, Grant Mahaffey, Zoie Mahaffey, Taylor Mayon and Hunter Mayon; and her 23 great-grandchildren.
Selma was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Schaub; a grandson, Blake Mayon; and her parents, Felix and Annette Guillot.
Visitation will be today, Monday Nov. 17, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Selma will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
