ORA MAE JONES

Ora Mae Jones, 81, a native of Calumet and a resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 10:48 p.m., at Ochsner Medical Center.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 22 at the St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, from 9 a.m. until funeral services, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Shields Cemetery, with Min. Keith Verrett Sr. officiating.
Ora Mae leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Jimmie Lee Jones of St. Martinville, Eddie Wayne Stackhouse of Franklin, Nathaniel Jones and Jeffery Jones, both of Morgan City, and Rodney Paul Hall of Houston, TX; one daughter, Karen Jones of Morgan City; one brother, Nelson Hall of Houston, TX; two sisters, Elizabeth Hall and Mercedes Coleman, both of Houston; devoted friends and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette/ Houma is in charge of arrangements.
