Reward offered in Pierre Part burglaries

Assumption Parish sheriff’s detectives are investigating a string of burgla-ries that occurred between Oct. 25 and Dec.18 in the 1000 block of Bayou Drive in Pierre Part, Sheriff Mike Waguespack said.
An individual or individuals broke into the residences at 1006, 1014, 1018 and 1020 Bayou Drive, he said.
Detectives are investigating these burglaries and processing potential evidence, Waguespack said.
Waguespack asked that anyone with any information about the burglaries to contact Capt. Darren Crochet with the Assumption Parish Criminal Investigative Division at 985-526-1627 or Communications Division at 985-369-2912.
The reporting information may be entitled to a REWARD if the information leads to an arrest, the sheriff said.
