New channel markers

New buoys were placed recently at the West Cote Blanche Bay access at the Charenton Navigation and Drainage Canal. The Port of West St. Mary deployed 20 “single red spar buoys” to replace the older existing buoys, and some that were missing. The United States Coast Guard will be altering the Navigational Map to reflect the new coordinates. Above is a photo of one of the new markers.
