Funeral services for Barbara Baudoin Rodriguez, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, will be held Thursday, at a 10 a.m. graveside memorial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. Deacon Gerald Bourg will conduct the service. She passed away at the age of 73 on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Franklin Health Care Center.
Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed line dancing. She retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board, where she worked as a school secretary at Foster Elementary School in Franklin.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracy R. Bozeman and her husband, Charles; and Kristi R. Nelson and her husband, Eric, all of Franklin; and two grandsons, Brett Joseph Nelson and Brant Michael Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix J. Rodriguez; one brother, Terry Baudoin; and her parents, Willie P. Baudoin and Grace Falterman Baudoin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.
