Lady Jills top FSHS

PATTERSON _ The Patterson Lady Jills toppled the Franklin Lady Hornets 55-46 in District 9-3A action here Friday at the Patterson High School Gym.
Franklin opened with a 15-13 lead in the first quarter before the Lady Jills earned a 21-17 halftime cushion. Patterson led 38-35 at the end of three quarters en route to the 55-46 win.
Leading scorers for Franklin were: Fabian Small, 12 points on four field goals and 4 of 6 free throws; Quanta Jones, 12 points on three deuces and a pair of treys; Wynesha Jenkins, 8 points on 3 field goals and 2 of 2 free throws; Kaira Butler, 6 points on 3 field goals; Chardonnae Parker, 5 points on 2 FG and 1 of 5 charity shots Cidne Ladd with 3 points on one trey.
Franklin will continue league play on Tuesday at Berwick.
