Patterson slips by Franklin

Tylan Grogan and Kenneth Washington combined 34 points, leading the Patterson Lumberjacks to a 63-47 win over the Franklin High School Hornets Tuesday in District 9-3A action at the FSHS Gym.
Grogan tossed in 18 points while Washington bagged 16 to lead the Lumberjacks.
Dwonyelle Charles led the Hornets with a game-high 19 points on five treys and a pair of deuces. Christopher Jones pumped in 13 points on five field goals and 3 of 4 free throws. Other scorers for the Hornets were D’Andre Charles, 9; John Boyd, 2 and Trey James, 2.
Franklin (0-4 in 9-3A) will play host to Berwick on Friday.
