LOYCE M. (CHUMMY) JONES

Loyce M. (Chummy) Jones, 79, a resident of Sugarland, TX and native of Franklin, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at 10:25 p.m., at her residence following a long illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 12 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Willie Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin.
Survivors include five sons, Michael (Karen) Jones, Bobby (Janet) Jones and Theo (Kathryn) Jones, all of Houston, TX; Kevin (Pamela) Jones of New Iberia and Quincy Jones of Franklin; three daughters, Valencia (Charles) Crossgrove of Sugarland, TX, Yolanda Stepteau of Scott and Vanna (Rodney) Kirt of Carencro; one brother, Ervin Collins Jr. of Franklin; three sisters, Rose Harris of Dallas, TX, Delores Thomas of New Orleans and Geraldine Carr of Pamona, CA; 31 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
