MRS. WANDA BUTLER LEE
Mrs. Wanda Butler Lee, 64, a resident of Baldwin and native of Centerville, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 11:55 a.m. at Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge following a short illness.
Visitations will be Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall R. Lee of Baldwin; one son, Melvin R. Lee of Baldwin; two stepsons, Rev. Marshall G. Lee of Houston, TX and Thaddeus White of Abbeville; one daughter, Jolander Lee of Baldwin; three stepdaughters, Melissa Lee, Rev. Trudy Hammond and Jeanette Hawkins, all of Houston; five brothers, Hillard Butler, Lloyd Butler Sr. and Henry Butler Jr., all of Verdunville, Joseph Butler of Patterson and Floyd Butler of Houston; two grandchildren, Melvin Lee and Destiny Lee, both of Baldwin; and 20 step grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
