LILLIAN MAE ‘MAMOU’ LEWIS

Lillian Mae “Mamou” Lewis, 72, a native of Franklin and resident of Patterson, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6:58 p.m., at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 7, at the New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow services in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson.
Memories of Lillian Mae will forever be cherished in the heart of her son, Nigal Span of Patterson; a grandson; six sisters, Letha Dauthine, Earnestine Lumpkin, Shelia Fine and Patricia Redaux, all of Franklin, Jacqueline Lockett of Lafayette and Cora Span of Patterson; three brothers, Paul Fine of Baldwin, Clarence Fine of Beaumont, TX and Howard Fine of Franklin; reared Herman Span, Milton Span, Montreal Span, Aline B. Long; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents.
