FLOYD 'DUTSY' AYO JR.

June 2, 1951 — February 23, 2015
Floyd “Dutsy” Ayo Jr., a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, in Thibodaux at the age of 63.
Dutsy was a lifelong oil field welder. He loved to dance, especially the jitterbug. Dutsy stayed on the dance floor as long as the music played. He will be remembered for his Mardi Gras parties and will be sadly missed by all.
Dutsy is survived by his daughter, Tansy and her husband, Kelly Bryson, of Houston; two grandsons, Westin and Wyatt; a sister, Mary Ayo of New Iberia; and a nephew, Kim Ayo of Berwick.
Dutsy was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Charlotte Darce Ayo; and two brothers, Kris and Claude Ayo.
A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with rosary services and reflections from Dutsy’s life by his friends.
