MELBA JOYCE TAYLOR ROYER

Melba Joyce Taylor Royer. a native of Beaumont, Texas, and longtime resident of East St. Mary Parish, most recently Bayou Vista, passed away at the age of 55, on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at her home.
Survivors include five siblings, Shirley Gilfour, Claude Taylor and his wife Pamela, Marvin Taylor and his wife Rita, Leslie Taylor, and Lina Michel and her husband Ron; one daughter; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Royer; her parents, Marion Edward Taylor and Zella Fay Zeek Taylor; and a brother-in-law, Lionel Gilfour.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
