DARRELL JOSEPH 'JOE' MAZE

Darrell Joseph “Joe” Maze, 64, a resident of Patterson, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 3:56 a.m. at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ, 1105 Railroad Ave., Morgan City, with Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery of Patterson.
Cherished and divine memories of “Joe Maze,” as he was known, will forever be remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Ivy Jean Maze of Patterson; a caring daughter, DeWan Jenkins (Lenny), and two granddaughters, Felecia and BreAnna Jenkins, all of Morgan City; six beloved sisters, Elaine Bettis (Lynn) of Beaumont, Texas, Gwendolyn Broussard, Mary Verdun (Eric) and Beverly Jones (Lionel), all of Patterson, Lavone A. Gray (Charles) of Berwick, and Della Rankins (Stanley) of Morgan City; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
“Joe” was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur John and Rosemary Madise-Maze; one daughter, Felicia Maze; and three brothers, Arthur Anthony Maze, Larry John Maze and Maurice Abel Maze.
