Upcoming road closures in the Morgan City area

From the Department of Transportation and Development:

On Tuesday, March 24, U.S. 90 eastbound over the Atchafalaya River (Morgan City Bridge) will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspections from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. No detour is necessary.

On Wednesday, March 25, U.S. 90 westbound over the Atchafalaya River (Morgan City Bridge) will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspections from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. No detour is necessary.

On, Thursday, March 26, La. 182 over Bayou Boeuf at Amelia will be closed for routine bridge inspections from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. The detour route for this closure will include the Lake Palourde Bypass Road (Duhon Boulevard), U.S. 90 and La. 662.

On Monday, March 30, La. 182 at the Berwick Bridge over the Atchafalaya River will be closed for routine bridge inspections from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. The detour route for this closure will include U.S. 90, which parallels this route and connects to La. 182 on each side of the river.
