Police Reports 3-24-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Mindy Macalusa, 31, of 535 Arcemont Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 12:02 p.m. on a charge of unauthorized use of an access card. She was held on $400 bond.
Takeila L. Rouchon, 32, of 2105 Chatsworth Road, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:25 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of issuing worthless checks and was released on $5,000 bond.
Jarnell Payne, 37, of 1510 Third St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 11:07 a.m. on charges of simple kidnapping, domestic abuse battery, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and disturbing the peace.
Deputies reportedly re-sponded to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress at a residence in Franklin. Upon arrival, deputies observed that the front door of the residence was open and conducted a search of the home which was found to be unoccupied. Deputies spoke with wit-nesses at the scene and reportedly learned that Payne and a female victim were travelling in a white Dodge Durango. Deputies began a search for the vehicle and located it on Prairie Road North near Centerville.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained Payne. During the course of the investigation, deputies reportedly learned that Payne punched the female victim multiple times bruising her face, neck and arms. When Payne learned that the Sheriff’s Office had been notified, he allegedly ordered the victim into the vehicle. Fearing for her life, the victim got into the car. No bond was set.
Matthew Burke, 26, of 997 Verdunville Road, Verdunville, was arrested Saturday at 7:58 p.m. on a charge of driving an off road vehicle on a public road and was released on a summons.
Marc Ramsey, 34, of 607 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 8:10 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on $10,171 bond.
Melvin Thibodeaux, 53, of 1423 James St., Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 12:53 a.m. on charges of battery on an officer, resisting an officer, possession of Schedule II drugs and pos-session of drug parapherna-lia. No bond was set.
Shawn Gaskins, 31, of 154 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 12:57 a.m. on charges of resisting an officer, possession of Schedule II drugs and misrepresentation during booking. No bond was set.
Jennifer Mora, 38, of 293 Texas Street, Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 2:15 a.m. on charges of flight from an officer and reckless operation of a vehicle. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Kyle J. Darden, 18, of 380 Flattown Road, Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 7:51 a.m. on charges of DWI and careless operation with an accident. He was released on a recognizance bond.
David McDonald, 51, of 3153 La. 87, Centerville, was arrested Sunday at 3:43 p.m. on charges of DWI, flight from an officer, resisting an officer, careless operation and driving left of center. No bond was set.
Roland August (Boutte), 18, of 420 Sorrell Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Sunday at 6:51 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft by fraud and theft of livestock, both felony counts. He was released on $500 bond.
Shawn Gaskins, (aka Wilbert Singleton), 34, of 154 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was charged Monday at 10:36 a.m. with a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of marijuana. No bond was set.
Acting Chitimacha Police Chief Ellen Hebert reported the arrest of Jessie Fontenot, 41, of Rayne, Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was released on a summons.
Ulysses Lumpkin, 49, of Charenton, was arrested Monday on a charge of criminal trespassing and released on a summons.
Courtney T. Malagarie, 31, of Charenton, was arrested Monday on a warrant charging her with disorderly conduct. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Sarah Webb, 29, of Samuel Street, Franklin, Friday at 5:41 p.m. on a warrant charging her with three counts of forgery. She was released on $3,000 bond.
Peggy Savoie, 43, of Ce-darwood Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 6:01 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to return a leased movable. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Raymond Comeaux, 44, of West Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:36 a.m. on a warrant charging him with parole violation and was additionally charged with resisting an officer by force. No bond was set.
Brandon Landry, 34, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 5:39 p.m. on warrants charging him with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, second offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Tatyanna Jackson, 19, of Blakesley Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 3:16 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and leash law violation. Jackson was released on $250 bond.
Latasha Mack, 35, of Blakesley Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 4:47 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace and released on $307 bond.
Yolanda Harrison, 46, of Pickett Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 2:03 a.m. on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. No bond was set.
