Police Reports 3-25-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Brook Fuselier, 27, of 748 Julia St., Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 3:37 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft under $500. No bond was set.
A juvenile female, 12, of Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 5:27 p.m. on charges of theft and ungovernable. She was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.
Blake Braud, 24, of Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 7:28 p.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging him with simple burglary. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGure reported that the following two arrests stem from officers being dispatched to a local business on Joe Hoy Drive on a complaint of a theft. Items valued at $32.56 were allegedly taken.
Lashonta Lumpkin, 23, of Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 9:08 a.m. on a charge of theft by shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
Kayla Smith, 21, of Sixth Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 9:08 a.m. on a charge of theft by shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
McGuire reported the unrelated arrests of Bradley Duncan, 17, of Chauvin Lane, Franklin, Tuesday at 2:50 p.m. on charges of failure to yield, hit and run and no driver’s license. He was released on $567 bond.
Brian Waguespack, 38, of Erath, was arrested Tuesday at 9:46 p.m. on warrants charging him with simple assault and simple battery on a juvenile. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and no brake lights and held on $3,000 bond.
The following two arrests stem from an incident at a business on Northwest Boulevard, McGuire reported. Waltman allegedly sold narcotics to Box at the business.
Jonelle Waltman, 50, of Church Street, Jeanerette, was arrested today at 2:28 a.m. on charges of distribution of cocaine and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. No bond was set.
Ben Box, 25, of Darwin Road, Centerville, was arrested today at 2:28 a.m. on charges of possession of codeine, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and second offense possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
