Centerville pounds Grand Isle

CENTERVILLE _ Centerville pitcher Christian Arias fanned 12 batters, leading the Centerville Bulldogs to a 21-1 victory over the Grand Isle Trojans Tuesday at the Centerville Baseball Field.
Arias went five innings for the win while not giving up an earned run with 12 strikeouts and two hits.
Caleb Leblanc led the Bulldogs in hitting while going 4 for 5 with six RBI. Arias turned in a 2 for 2 effort with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Gage Burgess was 2 for 4 with an RBI while Billy Estep went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Rounding out the hitting for the Bulldogs were: Cole Candella, 1 for 2, 2 RBI; Matt Lebourgeois, 1 for 3, RBI; Cameron Pogue, 1 for 4, 2 RBI and Gage Landry, 1 for 1, RBI.

Cameron Pogue hurled the Centerville Bulldogs past Mount Hermon 16-5 Saturday in the Doyle Tournament.

French Settlement earned a 16-8 victory over the Centerville Bulldogs in Saturday’s action in the Doyle Tournament.
Gage Burgess took the mound loss for the CHS Bulldogs. Burgess tossed six innings, giving up 16 runs (11 earned) on 12 hits with three strikeouts and one walk.
