MRS. BESSIE FLORENCE MITCHELL

Mrs. Bessie Florence Mitchell, 83, a resident and native of Franklin, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at 11:20 a.m., at her residence following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Ulysses Mitchell Jr. officiating the service.
Survivors include seven sons, Rev. Ulysses Mitchell Jr. (his wife, Edora); Ronald Lee Mitchell (his wife, Lucille); and Keith Louis Mitchell, all of Franklin; Rev. Anthony Reed Mitchell (his wife, Janice) of Baldwin; Rev. Sidney Kirk Mitchell (his wife, Martha) of New Iberia; Warren Mitchell (his wife, Julia) of Santa Cruz, CA; and Burgess Mitchell (his wife, Lindsey) of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Mrs. Sheila Ann Celestine (her husband, Christopher) and Mrs. Monica Rose Levine (her husband, Lester), both of Franklin; and Doctor Tammy Mitchell of Lake Charles; one brother, Ernest Bray (his wife, Margaret) of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Ora Lee Treaudo (her husband, Joshua) of New Orleans; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
