ALBERT JOSEPH VAUGHN

January 20, 1935 — April 1, 2015
Albert Joseph Vaughn, 80, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Albert was born on Jan. 20, 1935, in Bayou Pigeon, the son of Bouvey and Mildred Landry Vaughn.
Albert enjoyed fishing and also loved listening to and playing music. He was an active member of his church. Albert enjoyed being with and visiting with his family.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by six children, Terry Vaughn of Morgan City, Thomas Vaughn and wife Cathy of Berwick, Karl Vaughn of Bayou L’Ourse, Walter Vaughn Sr. of Morgan City, Tina Vaughn of Altamonte Springs, Florida, and René Vaughn of Pearl River; and nine grandchildren, Terry Vaughn II, Dustin Vaughn, Amber Vaughn, Seth Vaughn, Dylan Vaughn, Joey Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Andrea Vaughn and Kevin Michael Smith II. Albert is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Rosella Sanders, Elsie Vaughn, Rita Mae Vaughn and Joyce Vaughn.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Debra Sue Vaughn; one son-in-law, Ricky Deshotel; two grandsons, Walter Vaughn Jr. and Randy James Vaughn; and one granddaughter, Nicole Vaughn.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. Mausoleum entombment in the Morgan City Cemetery will be held at a later date.
