Summer program registration ends Friday
Registration in the Bayou Beaux Art and Dance Summer Arts Program will end Friday at noon.
Registration is held at the Office of Community Development in City Hall or by sending an e-mail to ashields@franklin-la.com and requesting a registration form. Students are enrolled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Classes that are open are dance, beginner acrylics, beginner encaustics and intermediate drawing. These classes are waiting-list only: beginner drawing, intermediate acrylics and intermediate encaustics. Students who are placed on the waiting list will be contacted if there is a change in the enrollment.
The dance portion of the program is open to students who are at least 6 years old. The art portion of the program is open to students who are at least 13 years old.

The Bayou Beaux Arts and Dance Program is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts and by a Community Partnership Grant from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation.
