MARY WILLIAMS MAUPIN

Mrs. Mary Williams Maupin, 59, a resident of Evanston, IL and native of Franklin, died Friday, April 17, 2015, at 2:03 a.m., at Chicago University Hospital following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 2 p.m., at the mortuary, with Lynn Fontenot officiating. Interment will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Leon Maupin Sr. of Evanston, IL; brothers-in-law, Zachary Maupin and Darnell Maupin, both of Evanston; two sons, Tramayne Williams of Des Moines, IA and Leon Maupin Jr. of Evanston; five daughters, Alicia Applewhite of San Antonio, TX, Indiana Applewhite of Franklin, Enjelica Johnson and Comoaneci Maupin, both of Evanston; and Norkeyta (Tejonn) Wiman of Atlanta, GA; five brothers, Clarence Williams Jr. of Franklin, Troy Williams of Oceanside, CA, Karl Williams of FL, Eric Williams of Stone Mountain, GA, and Hoyette Williams of Ellenwood, GA; four sisters, Carroll (Carlos) Kindred and Evelyn (Ted) Jones, both of Stone Mountain, GA, Marlina (Roger) Bolden and Loretta “Rosie” (Clyde) Washington, both of Franklin; 15 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
