Police Reports 5-19-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Darrell Wilson, 56, of 1236 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9:24 p.m. on charges of no driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, crack cocaine and codeine. No bond was set.
Garrett Daigle, 20, of 112 Ross Lane, Morgan City, was arrested today at 4:32 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and criminal trespassing and was held on $750 bond.
Baldwin Police Chief Harry Smith Jr. reported the arrest of Alonia Shearron, 46, of Branch Street, Baldwin, Saturday on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jared Chavis, 17, of Robert Street, Franklin, Monday at 1:13 p.m. on charges of four counts of forgery, exploitation of the infirm and theft. McGuire said officers were investigating a report of stolen checks from an elderly victim. Through the investigation, it was discovered that Chavis, who reportedly does yard work for the victim, allegedly signed and cashed four checks totaling $2,190. Chavis was released on $2,000 bond.
