Dr. Keidra Welch-Spencer joins FFH physician staff

Franklin Foundation Hospital has announced a new contract physician, Dr. Keidra Welch-Spencer.
Dr. Welch-Spencer is a family medicine provider currently located at St Mary Primary Care Clinic in Franklin.
Welch-Spencer will start her new practice at the Franklin Foundation Hospital Medical Office Building located at 200 Medical Drive on July 20.
“I’m excited about my new opportunity to practice with Franklin Foundation Hospital,” she said. “I look forward to seeing any of my current patients at this new location as well as new patients. I grew up in Franklin and care about the health and wellness of our community and look forward to being part of the FFH team.”
Hospital board chairman Eugene Foulcard said, “We are happy to have Dr. Welch-Spencer join our FFH family. She brings experience and knowledge to our team to better serve our community. Our new relationship and the addition of Dr. Welch-Spencer helps us move closer to achieving our strategic goals in meeting the health care needs of the service area.”
Dr. Welch-Spencer will continue seeing her current patients until July 2 at the St Mary Primary Care Clinic location on Lela Street. Medical records of the patients who want to transfer and continue seeing Dr. Welch-Spencer in her new location will be transferred into the FFH system.
If any patients do not wish to continue using Dr. Welch-Spencer as their provider after July 02, they can request a copy of their medical records or request to have their records transferred to a newly designated physician. FFH is a 22-bed acute care facility featuring a 24 hour emergency room, inpatient/outpatient medicine and surgery, obstetrics with nursery, intensive care unit, skilled nursing services, laboratory, outpatient therapy services, radiology services and nutritional services. Physician services are provided at the FFH Medical Office Building and Baldwin Family Clinic.
