Patterson softball all-stars to begin play

Patterson all-star softball teams will be in action, beginning Thursday, at Babe Ruth state tournaments in their respective age groups at Alexander Park in Brusly.
Patterson will be represented by 8U, 10U and 12U all-star teams in the event.
The 8U All-Stars will begin action at 10:30 a.m. Thursday against Amite.
In 10U action, Patterson’s team will meet Westside Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
Patterson’s 12U All-Stars will face Westside Thursday at 1 p.m.
Action will continue in all three brackets through Saturday when a state champion will be crowned.
