Berwick man faces weapons charge

A Morgan City man was arrested Thursday for disturbing the peace in Berwick, Berwick Police Chief James Richard said in a news release.
—Frank Adams, III, 23, of La.182 in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:35 a.m. Thursday on the charges of disturbing the peace, illegal carrying of weapons (brass knuckles), and for warrant in Ascension Parish for contempt of court.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 34 complaints and reported no arrests for east St. Mary parish.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
Morgan City Police Chief James Blair reported no arrests.
