Berwick 18-wheeler fire captured on video

The cab and engine of an 18-wheeler caught fire at about 1:45 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 90 west near Thorguson Road, Berwick Police Chief James Richard said. No injuries were reported in the fire, and the cause of the fire is not yet known, Richard said. The Berwick Volunteer Fire Department and Berwick Police responded along with the Morgan City Police Department. Police blocked one lane of U.S. 90 west for about 20 minutes before reopening it.
