In appreciation

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars posts of Franklin dedicated a memorial plaque to the St. Mary Parish Library System to recognize the library’s support to the organization for the past 30 years. At left are Enola Kilchrist, of Rayne and VFW Post 9822, and Connie Durocher, manager of the Alex P. Allain Memorial Library in Franklin. At right, Eula “Dora” Cooks of the Jackson-Henry VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 10016 in Franklin organized the event.
