Police Reports 9-11-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Morgan Lavergne, 21, of 914 Second St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:26 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt of court, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. She was released on $334 bond.
Jake A. Burke, 21, of 179 Cane Road, Centerville, was arrested Thursday at 2:58 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery and held with no bond set.
Elliot C. McClean, 23, of Abbeville, was arrested Thursday on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of resisting by giving false information. No bond was set.
Blake Wain, 18, of 656 Verdunville Road, Centerville, was arrested Thursday at 3:51 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, possession of Schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Jordan A. Billiot, 29, of 102 Cedarwood St., Franklin, was arrested today at 3:14 a.m. on charges of criminal trespassing, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal damage to property. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported that officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at a convenience store on Main Street. Two persons were arrested:
Malcom Smith, 28, of Bayside Street, Patterson, was charged Thursday at 7:51 a.m. with theft of goods, possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth offense possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax and parole violation. No bond was set.
Traylin Smith, 21, of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Patterson, was charged at 7:54 a.m. with DWI and held on $5,000 bond.
In unrelated arrests, Quantana Jones, 17, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was charged Thursday at 3:09 p.m. with theft under $300 after reportedly finding a wallet in a parking lot, taking $100 from it and throwing the wallet in the trash. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Ray Granger, 28, of Caffery Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 6:09 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated and a Morgan City failure to appear warrant on charges of speeding, no driver’s license and no insurance. No bond was set.
Xavier McGhee, 24, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:42 p.m. on charges of not obtaining a license prior to commencing business, resisting an officer, obstruction of justice and second offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.
