Patterson High is lone Week 7 winner

Patterson High School was the Tri-City area's lone winner on the gridiron in Week 7 as the Lumberjacks routed E.D. White, 40-14 in Thibodaux in a key District 8-3A contest.
E.D. White came into the game ranked No. 10 in the latest Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 3A poll, while Patterson (5-2 overall, 3-0) was receiving votes.
Elsewhere, Berwick and Morgan City each fell in district play Friday.
Berwick (2-5, 1-3) fell 32-13 to Kaplan in Berwick in District 8-3A action, while Morgan City (4-3, 0-2) was defeated 43-2 by Ellender in District 7-4A play in Morgan City.
On Thursday evening, Central Catholic (6-1, 3-1) fell to Vermilion Catholic 48-30 in Morgan City.
