LCA tops Centerville; CCHS downs HMS; Kaplan wins over Franklin

LAFAYETTE _ The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights toppled the Centerville Bulldogs 50-7 in District 7-A action here Friday.
Lafayette Christian improved to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in district play.
The Centerville Bulldogs slipped to 3-5 overall and 0-5 in league action.
Centerville will play host to Vermilion Catholic on Friday at Bulldog Stadium at 7 p.m. in District 7-A.

MORGAN CITY _ The Central Catholic Eagles downed the Hanson Memorial Tigers 52-22 in District 7-A action here Friday at Tiger Stadium.
CCHS upped its current record to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in league action. Hanson slipped to 2-6 overall and 1-4 in district action.
HMS will travel to play Highland Baptist on Friday in District 7-A action.

KAPLAN _ The Kaplan Pirates improved to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in District 8-2A play following Friday’s 47-0 victory over the Franklin Hornets here at KHS Stadium.
Franklin (1-7, 0-6) will travel to face East St. John on Friday in non-district action.
