UPDATED: School evacuations lifted

At 9:53 a.m. today, students at Holy Cross Elementary and Central Catholic were being allowed to return to their classrooms.

The schools were evacuated after authorities learned of a bomb threat, Morgan City Frank "Boo" Grizzaffi said this morning.

There have no indications that the threat was real or that any explosive device was actually involved.
