Facebook bomb threat on BEB investigated

A bomb threat on Facebook resulted in sheriff’s deputies sweeping B. Edward Boudreaux Middle School in Baldwin.
Sheriff Mark Hebert reported that the department received a report Sunday of a possible bomb threat on the school posted on Facebook.
Deputies conducted searches of the school and found no evidence of any type of explosive device. Deputies were also at the school this morning as a precaution. Detectives are investigating the post.
