ALFREDA DOROTHY GUIDRY

September 13, 1925 - January 30, 2016
Alfreda Dorothy Guidry, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away at the age of 90 on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.
Alfreda leaves to cherish her memory her five children, Jeffery Guidry and his wife, Joyce, Elda Oncale and her husband, Larry, Sadie Lusk and her husband, Jerry, Billy Guidry and his companion, Carmen Colon’, and Michael Guidry and his wife, Carolyn; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Guidry; her parents, Phillip and Frances Aucoin; and four brothers, Russell, Joseph, Newton, and Floyd Aucoin.
Visitation was observed today, Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Alfreda was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following services.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Natalie Dishman, Journey Hospice, and the staff at Morgan City Health Care Center for their care of Alfreda.
