CHS, Hanson enter state playoffs tonight; WSM plays Rayville Saturday

The West St. Mary Wolfpack will enter the Louisiana High School Athletic Association boys’ basketball playoffs Saturday in Class 2A while the Centerville Bulldogs and the Hanson Memorial Tigers will be in action tonight in the Class 1A bidistrict round.
West St. Mary _ the District 6-2A Champion _ will travel to face Rayville on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the State Class 2A first round. West St. Mary is seeded No. 27 will travel to take on No. 6 seeded Rayville on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Class 2A bidistrict round.
In Class 1A, the No. 24 seeded Centerville Bulldogs (12-10) will travel to play No. 17 seed Sicily Island (22-5) tonight at 6 in the first round.
The Hanson Memorial Tigers, the No. 30 seed, will travel to take on No. 3 seed Southern Lab tonight at 7 at Seymour Gym in the Class 1A first round.
Hanson Memorial (10-15) will journey to battle Southern Lab (21-5) in the State Class 1A playoffs.
