Centerville All-Stars win National Title

THIBODAUX _ The Centerville 7&8 Young Gunz captured the 2015-2016 National Biddy Title played here last Wednesday.
Centerville played in Thibodaux to compete for the National Biddy Basketball Title and they certainly brought it home!
This is the first year for the Centerville All-Stars competing in the 7&8 age group and they had an awesome year. Centerville played in a total of five tournaments and every tournament the Young Gunz placed.
Centerville placed third in the Lockport and Madisonville Tournaments and first every other tournament including Regionals and Nationals.
This group of boys and their coaches have done something amazing for our community and we appreciate them! Way to go Young Gunz! 2015-2016 National Championship!
Members of the Centerville Young Gunz are: Javen Gray; Jeremiah Gray; Cameron Moore; Courric Thomas; Ta’Shawn Joseph; Aquan Chillis; Treyshaun Mack; Jorion Gray; Jhylon Jackson; Koi Bethencourt; Tavon Ballet and Cayman Washington.
Coaches of the team are: Tanazia Washington; Coach Davey Monette; Coach Edwin Colbert; Coach Natasha Jackson and Director Calvin Sanders.
