Washburn promotes Shrimp and Petroleum Festival

Anna Leigh Washburn, Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum queen, traveled to Lutcher Dec. 5 to attend the Queens’ Day events and pageant for the Festival of the Bonfires to promote the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. There she was greeted by new Queen Sydney Catherine Poche, left in top photo, and participated in a sled race and other events. Washburn attended the Fur and Wildlife Festival and coronation Jan. 8 in Cameron. She congratulated newly crowned Queen Julian Devillier, right in bottom photo.
