LSU’S JERALD HAWKINS reportedly left for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday after being drafted in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday in Chicago. Hawkins _ who was a standout player at West St. Mary High School _ left LSU early where he performed at both left and right tackle. Hawkins (6-6, 305 pounds) was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round after leaving LSU as a true junior after starting every game he played at LSU.
